Casa Serena’s Old Age Home Annual Fundraising Ball was a huge success and with the help of the Italian community, COMITES, the Italian Club, Bocce Association, Corporate Businesses, the Casa Serena Board, and the Casa Serena staff team we managed to raise R438.000.
These funds will go towards Phase 2 of our solar project so we can work towards reducing and finally eliminating our heavy reliance on Eskom and the generator.
Certificates of Recognition were handed over by the Consul Generale d’Italia, Emanuela Curnis, to Anna Lucia Riccardi, Nando Riccardi and Sonia Scalco for their contribution to Casa Serena over the years.
